Article 1 – Objet
These General Terms and Conditions of Use (the "GTCU") govern the conditions of use of FREE LANCE gift cards (physical or dematerialised); and which are issued and marketed by FREE LANCE (together and indifferently the "Card"), and used by any natural person in possession of a Card (the "Beneficiary")
Article 2 – Validity of the Card
The Card is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. At the end of the validity period, the Card can no longer be used. Any remaining balance on the Card will at that point be lost. The Card will not be renewed or exchanged.
Article 3 – Article 3 - Use of the Card
The Card can only be used by an adult natural person.It can be used in the following stores: Aix, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Brussels, Cannes, Deauville, Paris Four, Paris Montmartre, Montpellier, St Tropez, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Lille and Lyon, as well as on the website www.freelance.fr.
The Card is not a credit card. It can be used as a means of payment, in one or more installments, during its period of validity, only to pay for a purchase in a FREE LANCE store or an order placed on the Website and within the limit of its balance.If the balance on the Card is not sufficient to cover the amount of the order, the Beneficiary can supplement it by any other accepted means of payment.To find out the balance of the Card, the Beneficiary can go to the Gift Card area on the Website or contact FREE LANCE Customer Service.In the event of the return of all or part of the order paid in whole or in part with the Card, the refund will be made to the Card which will be automatically re-credited with the amount of the returned item, within the limit of the amount initially paid by this same means of payment. It is important that the Beneficiary keeps the Card (the physical Card or the dematerialised Card received by email containing the Card number and the validity code) during the retraction period. In the event that the validity of the Card has expired at the time of reimbursement, the latter will be made in the form of a voucher valid for products sold and shipped by FREE LANCE.The Card may not be exchanged, transferred or resold, and may not be exchanged for money in any form, either in totality or in part.In the event of difficulty in using the Card (in particular if it does not work), the Beneficiary must contact FREE LANCE Customer Service.
Article 4 – Loss and theft of the Card
The Beneficiary is responsible for the Card that he or she possesses. Lost or stolen Cards may nevertheless be the subject of a cancellation request, provided that the Card is still valid.The sums already used before the cancellation request cannot be reimbursed.
Article 5 – Complaints
The transactions recorded by FREE LANCE's computer systems constitute proof of the transactions actually carried out using the Card.In the event of a dispute over the balance of the Card following its use, the Beneficiary may file a complaint via FREE LANCE's Customer Service.
Article 6 – Validity and modifications of the General Terms and Conditions of Use
The General Terms and Conditions of Use apply from the purchase date of the Card and are valid until the balance has been used up or the Card validity expires.Any changes to the General Terms and Conditions of Use cannot be invoked.
Article 7 – Applicable law
These General Terms and Conditions of Use are subject to French law. The competent court in the event of a dispute will be that of the place of residence of the defendant.
